In an effort to patch the growing problems in the U.S. economy, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. recently amped up its coverage to $250,000 on all accounts. The FDIC also temporarily insures a limitless amount of funds in non-interest bearing transaction accounts, which are usually business payroll accounts.
